Funeral of DeWitt Clark [Clarke]

The funeral of DeWitt Clark on Thursday afternoon was held under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity of which he was a charter member and all old soldiers attended the obsequies of their comrade in a body. Rev. W. P . N. J . Wharton, pastor of St. George’s church , assisted by Dean Cornell, of Sioux City, conducted the services at the church which was filled to its utmost capacity.

The pall bearers were P. P. Dalton, I. S. Struble, Judge Gaynor, N. L. Greer, Wallace Winslow, T. Adamson.

The Daughters of the King joined the solemn procession which marched to the cemetery and at the grave placed beautiful flowers on the casket.

The services at the grave were conducted by the Masons and closing services by Dean Cornell.

Mr. a n d Mrs. G. K. Huntington and son of Grand Island were present, Mrs. Huntington being a daughter of the deceased.
