Hinton Woman Dies In South

Mrs. Albert Hieke Well Known Resident Succumbs To Illness

Word has been received of the death at Tucson, Arizona, of Mrs. Albert Hieke, aged 63, former resident of Plymouth County. Mrs. Hieke succumbed following a lingering illness.

The deceased had been a resident of Hinton and vicinity for 34 years. She was born at Mount Pleasant, Iowa, October 4, 1871. She and Albert Hieke were married October 11, 1899. Mrs. Hieke's father was the late Rev, George W. Burkett, a minister of the Methodist Episcopal church.

Survivors are her widower; a son, W. L. Hieke, of Sioux City; a daughter. Miss Pauline Hieke, of near Hinton; three brothers, C. E. Burkett, of Chatsworth, Cal,; Dr, P. K. Burkett, of Wellsby, Cal., and Arthur Burkett, of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. W. S. Crouch, of Sioux City, and Grace Burkett, of Los Angeles, and two grandchildren.

The body was brought to Hinton for interment and funeral services held Monday afternoon at the Melbourne Church, Rev. L. J. U. Smay officiating.
