The remains of Dr. C. P. Ashworth, who died at Leeds Saturday [1-9-1892], aged 69 years, were brought to this place for burial Monday on the 10:06 a. m. train. Mr. Ashworth was the husband of Mrs.C.H. Jones' sister and was formerly located at Smithland, but had recently moved to Leeds. The services for the occasion were held at the Episcopal church.
