Mrs. Mary A. Coulson Was Member of
Pioneer FamilySioux City Journal: Mrs. Mary A. Coulson, 57 years old, 1123 West 3rd street, a lifetime resident of Sioux City and vicinity, died at St. Vincent's hospital early Sunday morning. Death was caused by heart disease.
Born near Galena, Ill.[June 15, 1865], Mrs. Coulson came with her parents to Woodbury county at the age of 4 years, settling on a homestead near Sioux City. On December 12, 1888, she married Geo.W. Coulson and the couple moved to Sioux City, where Mr . Coulson died in 1910.
Mrs. Coulson was a member of the Altar Society of St. Boniface and a member of St. Monica guild. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Boniface church at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
Mrs. Coulson is survived by one son, George C. Coulson, of Sioux City; two daughters, Miss. Irene Coulson and Miss Rhea Coulson, both of Sioux City; three sisters, Miss Kate Clarey, of Sioux City, Mrs. John Mansfield, of Westfield, Iowa, and Mrs. A.[Agnes] Keenan of St. Paul, Minn.; four brothers: Laurence Clarey and William Clarey,of Sioux City, Thomas Clarey of Akron, Iowa, and John Clarey of Minneapolis, Minn.
