HINTON PIONEER TAKEN BY DEATH
Thos. Graham Was Well Known Citizen

Thomas D. Graham, 79, former Hinton business man, died at his home there Monday after a long illness.

Mr. Graham was born January 10, 1863, in Canada, and when a child moved with his parents to a farm west of Hinton. He moved to Hinton in 1903 and engaged in various business enterprises there until 1918.

In 1903, Mr. Graham married Marguerite Sweeney at Hinton. She died in 1912. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic church at Leeds.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Dixon of Hinton; a son George and a brother Joe, both of Sioux City, and three sisters, Louise and Mathilda Graham, both of Pasadena, Cal., and Mrs. Marguerite Herring of Garretson, S.D.

The funeral was held Wednesday morning at St. Michael’s church in Leeds, Rev. F. H. Greneman officiating, and interment made in Calvary cemetery, Sioux City.
