DIED.
JOHNSON—At the family home in Akron, Iowa, December 12, 1906, Isaac Johnson, aged 72 years.

Death came from no particular form of illness, for of him the usual fact can be stated that he had never been really sick a day in his life. He appeared to grow gradually weaker for a number of days and the end came very peacefully.

Mr. Johnson was born in Norway, and there pursued the arduous Livelihood of a fisherman. His bent form sufficiently indicated that hard work and he had been constant companions in his younger days. He has resided here about two years and by all who came to know him was regarded as a very fine old man. Surviving him are his aged wife, one daughter, Miss Anna Johnson and son, Oscar Johnson, of Douglas County, S.D., where the remains were shipped last Friday for burial, accompanied by his wife and daughter.

The family resides in Undertaker Johnson’s old dwelling. The son was formerly engaged in carpenter work here.
