His mother’s maiden name was Feauto and his wife’s maiden name was McCorkell.
Francis William Hoffman, 63, Loomis, Calif., and native of Westfield, Iowa, died at his home June 4, 1977 of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were held June 7 at the United Church of Christ Congregational church, Loomis. Burial was in the Newcastle district cemetery, under the direction of the Sands' Foothill chapel.
Mr. Hoffman was born at Westfield, and had made his home in the Loomis area for the past l½ years, moving there from Sacramento where he had been employed as an engineer by Sacramento County, a position he held for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Ethyl; two daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline Walls of Pleasant Hill, Calif., and Diane Segalas of Sacramento; three brothers, Leonard Hoffman of Loomis, Robert Hoffman of Iowa, and Edward Hoffman, South Dakota; three sisters, Irene Prince of Iowa, Dorothy Cagner of Monterey Park, and Elizabeth Studer of Illinois; and three grandchildren.
