William A. Buryanek
William Anthony Buryanek, 60, of rural Vermillion was found dead in his farmyard Wednesday morning, (June 15, 1977) by a neighbor. Authoritiesmsaid he suffered a heart attack Tuesday night.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Agnes Catholic church. The Rev. Corbett Walsh officiated with burial in St. Patrick cemetery at Akron. Military graveside rites were conducted by Clay Post 3061 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Buryanek was born Dec. 3, 1916, at Akron, and lived and farmed in the Vermillion area most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and a past commander of the Clay VFW post. He was also a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Vermillion.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Joseph A. (Elizabeth) Dolan of Beresford; one niece and one nephew.
