HINES, HARTMANN, HARTMAN

Jacob Hines a well known resident of Liberty Township died at his home on Friday. Mr. Hines had been in poor health for some time.

Mr. Hines lived in Le Mars at one time and for the past twenty years lived in Liberty Township.

He was born in Baltimore Maryland about sixty years ago and when a young man came to Plymouth County and shortly afterwards was married to Miss Hartmann a daughter of John Hartmann one of the well known early settlers in Grant Township.

Mr. Hines is survived by his wife and one son and six daughters, Mrs. Wm. Omig of Sioux City and Mrs. Henry Mundt of Wagner, S.D., are daughters of the other members of the family live in Liberty Township.

Mr. Hines was a good citizen highly respected in the community and had many friends.

The funeral services will be held this afternoon at Adaville, Rev. O. W. Wilson officiating, and the remains will be interred in the Adaville Cemetery.
