After a long, lingering illness Charles Parker died October 25, at his home; of chronic inflammation of the bowels. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Astleford at the Adaville Church.
The church was crowded to its utmost with friends and neighbors who had gathered to pay their last tribute of respect to the dead and show their sympathy for the bereaved family. Mr. Parker was a man highly respected by all who knew him and leaves a young wife and boy five years of age and a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
