FORMER LONGTIME PERRY RESIDENT DIES IN SIOUX CITY

Mars. Geneveive Crouch 82, Westwood Convalescent and Rest Home, Sioux City, died Sunday at the home after a long illness.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crescent Park Methodist Church. Rev. Richard Pearson officiated. Burial was in Adaville Cemetery in Plymouth County.

Pallbearers were James Foley, Robert Hoppe, Dorance Allen, William Wilsbacher, Vernon Robinson, and Ronald Macklem.

Mrs. Crouch, the former Geneveive Hurt, was born May 19, 1882 near Merrill. She attended Morningside College and taught music in Plymouth County before her marriage to Oscar Crouch, June 26, 1901. They lived on a farm in Perry Township until 1947 when they moved to Sioux City.

She was a member of Crescent Park Methodist Church and the Women’s Society of Christian Service.

Survivors are the widower, also a resident of Westwood home; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Swanson and Mrs. Leo Graham, both of Sioux City; a son, Lloyd of Perry Township; a sister Mrs. Ruth Maxey of Struble, Iowa; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
