Mrs. John Graham Died Thursday
Burial Sunday Afternoon In Kingsley

Mrs. Anna Graham, wife of Supervisor John R, Graham, died at her home in Kingsley Thursday, May 11, after a protracted illness from cancer. Mrs. Graham had been in poor health for a year and had been treated by several specialists in different parts of the country, but steadily grew worse until death released her from her suffering.

Anna Nicodemus was born in Newhall, Iowa, Feb. 28, 1880, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Albert Nicodemus, and when three years old came with her parents to the community in which she spent the remainder of her life. She was married in March, 1904, to John R, Graham at Kingsley, Six children were born to them, who live in the vicinity of Kingsley:

Mrs. Charlotte Bainbridge, Miss Dorothy Graham, Harold Graham, Floyd Graham, Mrs. Vera Herbolt and .John Graham, Jr. She is also survived by her husband and four sisters: Mrs. Charles Blewett of Kingsley, Mrs. Ida James of Englewood, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Lehman of Olympia, Washington, and Mrs. Saddle Morgan of Tea, S. D. Mrs. Graham was a faithful member of the Brethren church and a devoted wife and mother who will be missed in the community and church as well as in the home.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Kingsley at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Proctor, pastor of the church. Rev. Rohlfsen, of Sheldon, an old friend of the family assisting, and the sermon being preached by Rev. Harry Wingert of the United Brethren church, her pastor. Burial was in Kingsley Cemetery.
