Death Claims Albert Doering

Was well known and prominent farmer living in Grant Township

Death claimed Albert B. Doering, a life long resident of Plymouth county and well known farmer of Grant township at his home September 5 following a lingering illness from a complication of diseases.

Mr. Doering was born June 22, 1874, in Plymouth county. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. H, O. Doering, pioneers In Grant township. He was raised on the home farm, attended the rural schools and helped on the farm. On attaining manhood he farmed on his own account. At one time he was engaged in the implement and machine business in Le Mars. He was united in marriage in 1902 with Miss Kate Lubben, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harm Lubben. He is survived by his wife and four children, Alfred, Marvin, Rosa and Herbert. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs .Herman Monke, of Pipestone, Minn., and three brothers, John Doering, of Grant township, George, of Madison, S. D., and William Doering living in South Dakota.

The funeral will be held this Friday,afternoon at 2 o'clock at Christ church, Mammen, the pastor, Rev. Bunge and Rev. J, J. Vollmar, of Le Mars, officiating and interment made in the city cemetery at Le Mars where relatives of his are buried.

Mr. Doering was a good citizen and neighbor and was respected by all who knew him.
