Beverly Dreeszen

Beverly Dreeszen, 42, Hawarden, was dead on arrival at the Hawarden Community hospital Saturday (Sept. 12, 1987) after being stricken at her home.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the United Methodist church in Hawarden. The Rev. Paul Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home of Hawarden.

Mrs. Dreeszen, the former Beverly Elliott, was born March 18, 1945, at Blair, Neb. She attended high school at Tekamah, Neb., and Wayne State College at Wayne. She moved to Hawarden in 1964. In May 1964 she married Joe Carr at Hawarden. On Dec. 10, 1978, she married Larry Dreeszen, at Le Mars. He died Nov. 24, 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Carr of Hawarden and Steve Carr of Worthington, Minn.; her mother, Elsie Elliott of Tekamah and two brothers, Lonnie and Larry, both of Tekamah.
