Note:The newspaper is in error and it should be spelled John Heeren. He was my great-great-grandfather. He was survived by his wife Margaret (called Meta) and three daughters Mary, Anna (called Annie)and Lena the youngest. He was preceded by a daughter Hannah in youth and a child in infancy.

John Hern, who has been sick, most all winter, died at his home east of Millnerville Wednesday morning, March 17.

The funeral was held Thursday at Adaville.

The family have the sympathy of the whole neighborhood.
