FORMER ADAVILLE MAN SUMMONED
Blaine King, Haley, N. D., Dies Following An OperationR. E. Murphey received word last week of the death of his brother-in-law, Blaine King, of Haley, North Dakota, following an operation in the hospital at Miles City, Montana.
Mr. King grew to manhood in Plymouth County, in the Adaville vicinity, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver King, were early settlers. He moved to Haley, N. D., about thirty-three years ago and has since made that his home. Those who mourn his passing are his widow; two sons, Eldon, of Twin Bridges, Mont., and Calvin, of
Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Baker, of Haley, N. D., and Mrs. Irene Foster, of Los Angeles, Calif., and several grandchildren; also, he leaves five brothers, Warren J. and Vernon, of Merrill, Iowa; Fred, of Lucas, S. D.; Sam, of Bismarck, N. D., and Abe, of Sioux Falls, S. D.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Fletcher, of Burke, S. D.; Mrs. Bessie LaBahn, of Merrill, and Mrs. Evah Brodie, of Le Mars, besides many other relatives and neighbors, who knew him to always be a friend and a good neighbor in time of need.The funeral was held Wednesday, December 23, and burial was made in the Haley, N. D. cemetery.
