Funeral services for Jess Dewey Lau, 65. of Sioux City, a former Kingsley resident, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dickinson Michaelson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Myron Brockmeyer of the Kingsley Methodist Church officiated and burial was in tile Kingsley Cemetery.

Mr. Lau was born Jan. 23, 1899, in Mills County, Iowa, and he married Jane Schelley. A farm laborer in the Kingsley area, he moved to Sioux City, five years ago.

He is survived by five brothers, William, Gus, Fredand, Ernest and George, all of Kingsley.
