Christopher Lee Welch, infant son of Leonard Welch and Jackie Ruud of Hawarden. Iowa, was stillborn Thursday, July 27, 1995, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center In Sioux City.

Graveside services were held Monday, July 31. 1995 at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Akron, Iowa with Monsignor Richard Zenk officiating. Arrangements were made by Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron, Iowa

Honorary casketbearers were Martin Schroeder, Martin Parmeter, and Bernard Welch, Jr.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Matthew Ruud of Hawarden, and Michael Welch of Sioux City; three sisters, Heather, Dena, and KaylIegh, all of Sioux City: grandparents, Henry and Mary Van Voorst of Hull, Iowa, Bernard and Isabella Welch of Akron, and Kay Welch of Hawarden; one great grandmother, Lucille Welch of Akron.
