Eber Guy Waterman, 93, of Kingsley, died Saturday, April 28, 1990, in Colonial Manor in Kingsley.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley with Rev. Arthur Hermanson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Mr. Waterman was born July 19, 1896, in Thurston, Neb., the son of Maddison and Mary Ellen (Soule) Waterman. He moved with his family as a child to a farm north of Sioux City and later near Akron. He married Hedwig Nelson in Sioux City. The couple farmed near Akron and moved to a farm north of Kingsley in 1939. They moved into Kingsley in 1987. He had been a resident of the nursing home since June 1987.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Phyllis and Lester Hoxie of Sioux City; two brothers, Donald Waterman of Sergeant Bluff, and Wayne and his wife, Evelyn Waterman of Akron; three grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by six sisters, and two brothers.
