Vernon A, Cooper, 68, of Moville died Sunday (April 1,1984) in a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley. Rev. H. Wallace Kinzler will officiate. Burial will be in the Kingsley Cemetery.
There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mr. Cooper was born Nov. 25,1915, in Woodbury County and graduated from Moville High School in 1932. He married Leona Wetrosky March 27, 1935, in Elk Point. He lived in the farm community of Moville most of his life and worked for Simonsen Co. at Quimby for several years. Mr. Cooper was Methodist.
Survivors are his wife; four sons, Dale of Holstein, Daniel and Donald, both of Cherokee, and Dennis of Correctionville; three daughters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Dunnington of Wickenburg, Ariz., Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) Brookpank of Holstein and Mrs. Roger (Virginia) Putizer of Quimby; two brothers, Carroll of Moville and Marvin of La Mirada, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Roy (Alice) Winneke of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
