Vera V. Banks, 90, Westfield, died Saturday (Aug. 4, 1990) in a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Rev. Martin Healy, pastor of Westfield Congregational United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Miss Banks was born Dec. 8, 1899, in rural Westfield. She farmed with her family in the Westfield area for many years.

Survivors include six brothers, Orel V. of Akron, and Belmer P., Wurth W., Emmett C , Lloyd G., and T. Arden Bank, all of Westfield; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers.

It doesn't mention it but her mother's maiden name was Ross. Her parents were Joseph and Florence (Ross) Banks.
