Louise V. Trometer, 95, Merrill, died Oct. 13, 1992, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were held Saturday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Merrill. The Rev. Frank Philipps officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Merrill, under direction of the Mauer- Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Mrs. Trometer was born Jan. 8, 1897, in Woodbury County to Gustave and Margaret (Yockey) Kamm. She married Peter Andrew Trometer Aug. 29, 1917 in Elk Point, S.D. The couple farmed in the Merrill area most of their married life. He died April 22, 1979.

Survivors include a son, Robert Trometer and his wife, Patricia, of Merrill; three daughters, Geraldine Wieck and her husband Lloyd, Georgana Blackmore and her husband Lawrence and Darlene Roehrich and her husband Walt, all of Hinton; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Charlotte Beymer of Lawton.
