Kathryn E. Willer, 70, of Brunsville, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 19, 1996, at the Hawarden Hospital in Hawarden, Iowa.
Services were held Saturday, March 23, 1996, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Brunsville with the Rev. Harry Klein officiating. Organ music was "I Was There To Hear Your Morning Cry" played by Carol Willer.
Interment was in Brunsville Cemetery under direction of Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron, Iowa.
Casket bearers were family.
Mrs. Willer was born December 20. 1925, in Wilmont, South Dakota, the daughter of John B. and Mable (Benedict) Taylor.
She attended and graduated from high school in Marshall, Minnesota in 1944. She graduated from Drake University in 1949 and was a music teacher in Cleghorn and Onawa, Iowa for two years.
She married J. Alvin Willer June 21, 1953, in Marshall, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Brunsville.
Mrs. Willer was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the ladies group of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin; four sons and their wives. Jay and Nancy Willer of Akron, James and Debbie Willer of Mizpah, New Jersey, John and Jayne Willer of Merrill, and Paul and Jodi Willer of Marshall, Minnesota; six grandchildren, David, Daniel. Courtney, Emily, Laura, and Lisa; one brother. Clifford Taylor of Richfield, Minnesota; one sister-in-law Beverly Taylor of Fallbrook, California; nieces and nephews and special friends, Jack McHale, Mary Jones, and Kirkland DeWitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons; one brother, David; one sister, Grace; one nephew, Eric; and two sisters-in-law, Myrtle and Mildred.
