Mrs. Belle Donnell
Dies in Oklahoma

Friends here were deeply grieved
last week by the sudden death of
Mrs. Belle Donnell, who passed
away at Fort Sill, Okla., after a
short illness with flu and compli-
cations. Mrs. Donnell, who had been
visiting relatives at Craig for several
weeks, left for the home of a brother
at Fort Sill only about ten days be-
fore her death.

The deceased who had lived nearly
40 years of her life in Ireton, will
be sadly missed here by numerous
friends. She was an active member
of the Presbyterian church of this
place, a good Christian woman always
ready and willing to help in time of
need.

Mrs. Donnell named Belle Foulk, was
born at Olive Green, Ohio, in 1857
and there received her education and
grew to womanhood. In the year 1889
she came to Ireton, and had since made
her home here. In 1907 her sister, now
Mrs. C. J. Snyder of Craig, came to Ire-
ton and they lived together until five
years ago when the latter moved to
Craig.

She is survived by three brothers,
Frank Foulk of Ft. Sill, Okla., Tom
Foulk of Ash Creek, Minn. and
Welcome Foulk, of Tekamah, Nebr.;
and two sisters, Pearl Foulk of
Elkhorn, Nebr., and Mrs. C. J. Snyder
of Craig.

Funeral services were held at Fort Sill
last Friday and interment made at
that place.
