Mrs. Donnell Dies in Oklahoma
Mrs. Belle Donnell, for more than
twenty years a resident of Ireton, died
Wednesday morning at the home of
her brother, Frank Faulk, in Oklahoma,
after a brief illness from influenza,
according to word received by
Ireton friends. Mrs. Donnell was 73
years of age. For several weeks she
had been visiting at the home of her
sister, Mrs. C. J. Snyder, at. Craig,
but about two weeks ago went to
Oklahoma to spend the holidays at
the home of her brother. Mrs. Donnell
lived alone in Ireton but had a host of
friends who were deeply shocked at
news of her death. Funeral arrangements
have not been completed so far

Dies in OklahomaFriends here were deeply grieved
last week by the sudden death of
Mrs. Belle Donnell, who passed
away at Fort Sill, Okla., after a
short illness with flu and compli-
cations. Mrs. Donnell, who had been
visiting relatives at Craig for several
weeks, left for the home of a brother
at Fort Sill only about ten days be-
fore her death.The deceased who had lived nearly
40 years of her life in Ireton, will
be sadly missed here by numerous
friends. She was an active member
of the Presbyterian church of this
place, a good Christian woman always
ready and willing to help in time of
need.Mrs. Donnell named Belle Foulk, was
born at Olive Green, Ohio, in 1857
and there received her education and
grew to womanhood. In the year 1889
she came to Ireton, and had since made
her home here. In 1907 her sister, now
Mrs. C. J. Snyder of Craig, came to Ire-
ton and they lived together until five
years ago when the latter moved to
Craig.She is survived by three brothers,
Frank Foulk of Ft. Sill, Okla., Tom
Foulk of Ash Creek, Minn. and
Welcome Foulk, of Tekamah, Nebr.;
and two sisters, Pearl Foulk of
Elkhorn, Nebr., and Mrs. C. J. Snyder
of Craig.Funeral services were held at Fort Sill
last Friday and interment made at
