Former Resident Near Akron Dies

Mrs. John Anderson Lived On Farm In Westfield

Mrs. John Anderson, a former resident southeast of Akron, died at her home, 3319 Jennings street, in Sioux City, Iowa. Monday, April 13, 1936, after a lingering illness, aged 66 years, 7 months and 11 days.

Anna Beata Sandberg was born at Varing, Sweden, September 2, 1869.

She emigrated to the United States in 1892 and came direct to Plymouth County, Iowa. On March 10, 1892, she was united in marriage with John Anderson in Sioux City. They resided on a farm near Akron until 1930, when the family moved to Sioux City.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Elmer A. Anderson, of Akron, and E. Leonard Anderson, of Sioux City, and three daughters, Mrs. Elin Peterson, of Kadoka, S. D.; Mrs. Elsie Shearer,
of Westfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Esther Shearer, of Sioux City.

Mrs. Anderson was a kind and devoted wife and mother, a helpful neighbor and friend, highly esteemed by all who knew her.

The funeral was held Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron, conducted by Rev. C. W. Samuelson, and the interment was made in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Adaville.
