Willis Irwin, 55, of Kingsley, died
Thursday (Aug. 7, 1980), in a Sioux
City hospital of brief illness.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday
at United Methodist church of Kingsley
Rev. Gordon Watson will officiate.

Burial will be at Kingsley cemetery.

There will be a prayer service at 8
p.m. Friday at Dickison-Michaelson
Funeral home of Kingsley.

Mr. Irwin was born Feb. 22,1925, in
Grand Meadow township, Cherokee
county. He graduated from Grand
Meadow township high school and
attended Nettleton Business Training
college at Sioux City.

He married Florence Kintigh May
28, 1947, at Cherokee. He lived in
Grand Meadow township until 1953
when he moved to Pierson, He operated
an insurance business from 1953
until 1970. In 1972 he moved to
Kingsley.

Mr. Irwin was a member of United
Methodist church, Nash post 140,
American Legion and Rutland lodge
607, AF&AM of Pierson. He was a
veteran of world war 2 and had served
as treasurer of Pierson school and the
city of Pierson.

Survivors are his wife; a son. Robert
of Kingsley; one daughter, Mrs. Rick
(Margaret) Becker of Sioux Falls,
S,D.; two brothers, Richard of Marcus
and Roger of Remsen; and one sister,
Mrs. Guy (Kathleen) Brown of Pierson.
