Wilmer W. Vanness, Brunsville, 58, died Monday morning, Jan. 31. 1977, in the Akron hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Vanness will be Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Peters Lutheran church, Brunsville, with burial in the Brunsville cemetery under direction of the Mauer
funeral home.

Wilmer Vanness, 58, Brunsville, died Jan. 31, 1977 at the Akron hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in St. Peter's Lutheran church; Brunsville.

The Rev. Robert Salge officated with burial in the Brunsville cemetery, under the direction of Mauer funeral
home, Le Mars.

Mr. Vanness was born April 1, 1918, in Center, Neb. He married Leona M. Friedrich Sept. 8, 1939, in Wasau, Neb.

He was a retired fat-men He lived in Center, Neb. area until age 45 then moved to Loveland, Colo. He moved to
Brunsville in 1970.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Jack .(Karen) Antisdel of Omaha; three sons, Roger of Le
Mars, Eldon of Omaha and Gay of Sioux City; two brothers, and three sisters.
