Carl Belau, 74, Pipestone, Minn., died
Wednesday, Jan. 5, at a Pipestone
hospital.

Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at the
Peace United Methodist church with Rev.
John R. Miller officiating.

Burial was in the Dell Rapids cemetery
under direction of the Tucker funeral
chapel of Pipestone.

Mr. Belau was born May 27, 1897, in Le
Mars. He moved to Garretson, S.D., as a
child.

Mr. Belau and Mary Warren were
married Jan. 7, 1924, at Sioux Falls. They
farmed near Garretson and Jasper, Minn.,
until moving to a farm near Pipestone in
1929. They retired and moved into
Pipestone in 1969.

Survivors are his wife and two brothers,
Arthur of Garretson and Arnold of Jasper.
