Alex Beaulieu

Special: Alex Beaulieu, 88, a life-
long resident and farmer in this
community, died Friday at a Sioux
City hospital after a brief sickness.

Mr. Beaulieu was born September
21, 1875, in Plymouth County, Ia.

He was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic church at Ellendale, Ia.
His wife, Elizabeth, died June 8, I960.

Survivors include two daughters
Mrs. Viola Berghuis of Hinton and
Mrs. Josephine Barr of Akron, Ia.;
a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Huber of
Sioux City; two brothers, Henry of
Merrill, Ia.; and Lewis of Le Mars,
Ia.; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10:30
a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic
Church at Ellendale, Ia. Rev. E.E.
App, pastor, officiated. Burial was
in St. Joseph cemetery. Pallbearers
were Robert Kelly and Vernon,
Edwin, William, Harold and Albert
Beaulieu.

The rosary was recited at 7:30
p.m. Sunday at the Larkin Funeral
Home, Sioux City.
