Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine
Katherine Bauerly, 73, Merrill,
who died Friday in Sioux
City, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday
at the Assumption Catholic church
in Merrill.

Rev. William Carel will officiate.
Burial will be in the Ellendale
cemetery near Merrill. The rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday
at the Luken funeral home
of Le Mars.

Mrs. Bauerly was born December
22, 1886, on a farm in Plymouth
county. She had resided
all her life in and around Merrill.

Mrs. Bauerly was married October
22, 1907, at Merrill to Henry
Bauerly.

Survivors include the widower,
Henry; five sons, Albert of Wausa,
Neb., Arnold of Castro Valley,
Cal., David of Oakland, Cal.,
Milo of Shavetown, Pa., and Melvin
of Sioux City; four daughters,
Mrs. Loretta Von Tersch of Merrill;
Mrs. Shirley Bruns, Mrs. La
Vena Wendehl and Mrs. Mae Peckenpaugh,
all of Sioux City; two
brothers. William Munsch of Arco,
Minn., and Albert Munsch of
Zumbrota, Minn., a sister, Mrs.
Minnie Krier of Rochester, Minn.,
and 30 grandchildren.

The Luken funeral home of Le
Mars has charge of arrangements.
