Philip Beaubien Sr., 85, Westfield,
died Monday (Feb: 7, 1977) at an Akron
hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wed-
nesday at St. Patrick's Catholic church
in Akron with Rev. Stanley Stone officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph
cemetery in Akron.

The rosary will be recited at, 8 p.m.
Tuesday at the Schroeder funeral home
in Akron.

Mr. Beaubien was born June 30, 1891,
in Westfield. He married Winnie Faust
Oct. 29, 1910 in Westfield, and she died
in April 1962. He married Gladys Hoffman
Feb. 3,1968, in Akron.

He was a school bus driver for 29
years and had driven both the first horse-
drawn and the first motor-driven
buses at Westfield.

Survivors are his, wife; two
daughters, Mrs. Levi Florence) Kap-
fer and Mrs. Melvin (Catherine)
Foster, both of Sioux City; three sons,
Philip Jr. of Westfield, Bernard of Sioux
City and John of Bakersfield, Calif.; a
step-daughter Mrs. Marjorie Scherling
of, Westfield; two-step-sons, Daryled
and Louis Hoffman, both; of Westfield;
two sisters, Mrs. A. J. (Irene ) Mann of
Citrus Heights, Calif., and Mrs. George
(Pearl) Rowe of Sioux City; three brothers,
William of Colorado Springs,
Colo., Armand of Chelsea, Okla., and
Lawrence of Akron; 30 grandchildren;
56 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-
grandchildren.
