Former Merrill Man Died In San Diego Monday, January 13

Owen Taylor, 76, San Diego Cal., resident of Iowa for 66 years died Monday at San Diego after a long illness.

Mr. Taylor was born November 23, 1870, At Tama county. In 1909 he removed to a farm west of Merrill. He retired from farming and moved to San Diego in 1936.

Survivors include the widow, Alice; two daughters, Mrs. Tom Taylor of Sioux City and Mrs. Samuel Gibson of San Diego; a sister, Mrs. Uzillah Showen of Minco, Okla.; three brothers, Arthur of Oklahoma, Walter of Bonsteel, S. D„ and Edwin of Billings, Mont., and six grandchildren.
