INFANT DAUGHTER OF ERNEST SPARKS DEAD

Shirley Sparks, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sparks of Oyens, died Monday, January 8, at the Sacred Heart Hospital following a short illness.

Shirley was born at the Sacred Heart Hospital, December 10, 1944, and at the time of her death was 28 days old. The survivors besides the parents are a brother, Billy Ray; a grandmother, Mrs. M. Sparks of Atlanta, Ill.; and a grandfather, Wm Scheitler, of Oyens.

The funeral services were held Wednesday morning, January 10, at St. Catherine’s Church in Oyens, Rev. H. B. Karhoff officiated at the services and interment was in St. Catherine cemetery. Wiltgens were in charge of the funeral.
