JAHN INFANT BURIED HERE

Last rites were held Monday afternoon, April 7, from the First Lutheran Church, Kingsley, for Gayle Carl Jahn, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jahn, who died in the Lutheran hospital in Sioux City, April 5th. Gayle was born on a farm near Kingsley January 17, 1941. He was baptized in the Triune God by Rev. Wehrspaan on the eve of his birth.

He became ill with a high fever seven weeks ago.  When medical attention did not help he was taken to the hospital.

Survivors include the parents; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jahn, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wetrosky; a great grandmother, Mrs. Augusta Jahn, of Hinton; great grandfather, Carl Albers; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wehrspaan and interment was made in the Kingsley cemetery.

Pallbearers were Raymond Wink, Darrel Fitzpatrick, Roger King and Alvin Albers. Flower girls were Donna Jean Jahn, Donna Mae Lau, Norma Jean Fitzpatrick and Jeanne Porsch.
