ALEX KLEMME, 76, LIFELONG RESIDENT OF BRUNSVILLE, DEAD

Funeral services for Alex Christian Klemme, 76, of Brunsville, lifetime Plymouth county resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Lutheran church, Brunsville.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Rev. Clarence Nagel will officiate. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Klemme was born Aug. 23, 1889, in Preston township. He was a retired farmer and also did some blacksmithing and piano tuning. He moved to Brunsville in 1948 from the farm.

He had been ill for several months and had been at the Sacred hospital for 11 days. He died there Sunday evening.

His marriage to Mary Plueger took place Sept. 4, 1912, in Preston township. He was the son of the late Minnie and Christ Klemme.

Survivors are his wife. Mary of Brunsville; a son, Leslie, Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Youngstrom, Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, a brother, Emery Klemme of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his parents: a daughter, Mrs. Jack Borchers; three sisters and a brother.
