Mrs. Mary Gellerman passed away in Cherokee Hospital on December 17, after a sickness of many years. She was 84 years and 4 months of age.

Mary Thielen was born August 17, 1869, at Sterling, Illinois. She was married to Henry Gellerman near Le Mars in March 1889. Mr. Gellerman preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 20 at Craig Lutheran church with Rev. W. K. Schmidt officiating. Burial was in Craig cemetery under direction of the Maurer Funeral home.

Survivors include three sons, John of Ireton, Henry of Le Mars, Fred, , Anna and Sophia Gellerman. Also, surviving are three grandchildren and three brothers, Henry, Ben, and John Thielen.

Decreased was preceded in death by her husband and 4 daughters.
