Death of Henry J. Gellermann

Henry J. Gellermann died of bron­chial pneumonia at the family home, northeast of Craig Tuesday morning, Oct, 27, 1925. Five years ago he was stricken with paralysis and since partial recovery from that disease has been in feeble condition; so that his vitality was not strong enough to cope with the latter disease.

The deceased was a native of Ger­many, being born at Wittmun, Ostfreisland, March 13, 1857. Thirty- eight years ago he left his native Iand and came to America, locating at Petersburg, Ill., and three years later came to Grant township, this county, where he has made his home ever since and where on March 8, 1889, he was united in marriage with Miss Marie Theilen, Rev. Fred A. Buenger officiating. To this union four sons and five daughters, were born, one son and one daughter having died some time ago. He leaves also a brother and sister in Germany. He had been a member of St. John's Lutheran church of Craig almost since its organization and his funeral will be held in that edifice this afternoon at 1:30, Rev. Zibell officiating in the English language and burial will be made in the Craig cemetery.-Cralg Independent.
