WILBUR MOLISON
Funeral for Wilbur (Mac) Molison, 52, Grinnell native and lifelong resident, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the UCC Congregational Church in Grinnell. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery near Grinnell.
Mr. Molison was the husband of the former Carol Totman, LeMars, and son-in-law of Robert Totman, LeMars.
He died unexpectedly Feb. 8, 1985, at Grinnell General Hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home.
He was born Aug. 15, 1932, at Grinnell, the son of Wilbur Cleland and Miriam Maxine Molison. He was a cashier and treasurer at Grinnell State Bank, a member of the board of directors at the bank; treasurer of the Kiwanis Club; a member of Herman Masonic Lodge, B.P.O. 1266 Order of the Elks and was active in the Ambassador’s Club.
His marriage to Carol Joyce Totman took place Dec. 29, 1957, in LeMars.
Survivors are his wife, Carol; a son, William Robert Molison, Urbandale; a daughter, Constance Margaret Molison, Grinnell; a grandson, Andrew McLain Mollison; his mother, Mrs. Miriam Malison, Grinnell; a sister, Mrs. Mary Grant Finley, Theodosia, Mo.; a brother, Robert W. Molison, Fort Collins, Colo.; and his father-in-law, Robert Totman, LeMars. He was preceded in death by his father.
