Henry H. Buhman, 94, 1315 S. Irene St., died Wednesday, November 8, 1995, at his home after a brief illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Louis J. Sievert officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Christy Smith & Hockenberry Morningside Funeral Home.

Mr. Buhman was born January 16, 1901, in Charter Oak, Iowa. He moved to Plymouth County, Iowa, as a young man and farmed near Brunsville. He came to Sioux City in 1925. On April 4, 1927, he married Minnie S. Reiken at Elk Point, South Dakota. She died September 1, 1976, in Sioux City. He worked for Armour & Co. for 33 years, retiring at age 62. In his retirement, he did upholstery work in his home.

Mr. Buhman was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Siouxland Senior Center and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Charles H. and Rita Buhman of Cass Lake, Minnesota; two daughters and their husbands, Helen and Richard Jasman and Janet and Lyle Lukens all of Sioux City; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers; five sisters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
