Funeral Rites Saturday For Lewis Brabander

Lewis Brabander, 74, a resident of Chatsworth, Iowa, 26 years were found dead in bed at his home Thursday afternoon, December 18.

Coroner Charles Vander Ploeg of Orange City said death occurred Tuesday(December 16) from natural causes.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Frazier funeral home in Hawarden. Burial was in the city cemetery in Le Mars.

He was born February 2, 1878, at Elkader, Iowa and had lived alone since coming to Chatsworth.

Survivors include three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Herman Renken, Mrs. William Ludwigs, and Henry Brabander of Le Mars. Miss Tena Brabander of Tucson Arizona, and John, who lives in California.
