Rites Tuesday for Berhard Toel, 73

Bernard H Toel, 73, of Brunsville, died Saturday morning(March 15, 1952) at the Le Mars Sacred Heart hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran church in Brunsville. Rev. A. F. Zenk will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars city cemetery under the direction of the Maurer funeral home.

Mr. Toel was born Jan 7, 1879 in Germany and came to the United states in 1891. He farmed in Plymouth county until 1942 when he retired and moved to LeMars. He married the former Anna Borchers Feb 14, 1912.

Survivors include the widow, a son, William of LeMars, two daughters, Mrs. John Osterbuhr of Le Mars and Mrs Herbert Morris of Sutherland, a sister Mrs. Helen Borchers of Le Mars and seven grandchildren.
