Emil H. Schulz, Lifetime Plymouth county resident, passed away at the Hawarden hospital Wednesday evening (Feburary 3, 1954) following a heart attack suffered about a week ago.

Mr. Schulz was born October 29, 1989 in Grant township. He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Eilers on Feburary 22, 1910 , in LeMars. Mr. Schulz has been living alone at his home in Craig since the death of his wife on March 23, 1952. He was 64 years of age.

Friends may call at Luken's Funeral home from Friday evening until 1:15 Sunday when family prayer service will be held at the funeral home and funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at St. John Lutheran church in Craig. Rev Walter H. Schmidt will officiate and burial will be in Craig cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Ivan of LeMars; one brother, William Schulz of Craig; and one sister, Mrs. Albert Winterfeld of Craig. Two grandchildren, Gary and Sheryl Schulz of LeMars also survive.

Proceding him in death besides his wife, were his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jochin Schulz: two brothers, Herman and Paul and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Baack and Mrs. Carl Johnson.

Pallbearers will be John Schmidt, John Plueger, Fred Ronsiek, George Oltmanns, Henry Fett and Henry Ludwigs.
