EARLY SETTLER IN ALVORD DIES
Was Member Of Iowa Pioneer Family

Mrs. Thomas Levins, 71, a resident of Akron for many years, died at the Sacred Heart Hospital in this city Sunday evening.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Levins, and four daughters: Mrs. Cloy McKeegan and Mrs. William Reilly of Rock Valley; Miss Olive Levins of Philadelphia; and Miss Theresa Levins of Dubuque. She is also survived by three sons: Edward, in the Navy; John of Philadelphia; and Private Lawrence Levins, of Shreveport, La.

Thomas Levins is a cousin of the late Frank Levins, of LeMars.

Mrs. Frank Levins, Sr., Mrs. Matt Levins and Miss Marie Levins, of this city, attended the funeral held Wednesday at Sacred Heart church in Alvord.
