Alvin G Daniels - Alvin (Al) George Daniels, 71, 311 Ross St., Sioux City, Woodbury, Iowa, a retired truck driver, was found dead at his residence Sunday evening (November 19, 1972).

Death was caused by a coronary, according to Dr. Thomas L. Coriden, Woodbury county medical examiner, who estimated the time of death as Sunday morning shortly after midnight. Mr. Daniels lived alone, he said.

Mr. Daniels was born October 16, 1901, in Underwood, and had lived in Sioux City most of his life.

He married Irene Frame November 21, 1925 at Salix,Iowa. Mrs. Daniels died June 26, 1943 in Sioux City.

A longtime employee of Interstate Oil Company for whom he was a truck driver, he retired in 1969. He as a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Lang of Remsen, and Mrs. George (Wilma) Hankins of Lancaster, California; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph LaGrone and Mrs. George Lynn, both of Long Beach, California, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at St Boniface Catholic Church. Rev. Denis Hall will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Frame, Albert Daniels, Jack Daniels, Dennis Lang, Douglas Lang and James Ruden.

The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock Tuesday at the Anderson-Perasso funeral home, Sioux City.
