MRS. BAACK RITES THIS MORNING
Succumbed to Heart Attack Early Thursday Morning

Funeral services were held this morning at St. James Catholic church at 9 o’clock for Mrs. William Baack, who passed away in her home at 31 Fourth Avenue SW, Thursday, February 22, at 2:15 a.m. Death followed a heart attack. Father W. B. Bauer sang the requiem and burial was made in St. James Cemetery under the direction of Wiltgen funeral home.

At the time of her death Mrs. Baack was 63 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age. She was born on January 11, 1882, in LeMars and was married to her husband, William Baack, July 20, 1909, at Maurice, Iowa. Mrs. Baack’s maiden name was Oliva Kaiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas Kaiser.

Surviving her is the devoted husband and six children, Ray Baack, Remsen; Mrs. John Haag, Ida Grove; Mrs. Andrew Haag, LeMars; Mrs. Stephen Carel, Hinton; Mrs. Elmer Christensen, Granville; and Mrs. Clifford Bauerly, Tacoma, Wash. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Baack was a very kind and charitable woman, a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by her many friends.
