JESSIE P. MADISON

Jessie P. Madison, lifelong resident of LeMars, passed away at the Sacred Heart Hospital on Wednesday, March 6, 1957.

Miss Madison was graduated from LeMars high school in 1936. She was employed by Stebbins Paint Company for seven years and also at Pew’s Garage. For several years she worked at the LeMars Rationing Board. For the past several years she was bookkeeper and secretary for the A.J. Mastjen Company.

Deceased was taken to the hospital a week ago after a sickness which lasted several months. She was born May 16, 1918, in LeMars and was 38 years of age.

The date and hour of funeral services are pending as this paper goes to press. Rev. R.V. Gildner will officiate at services at the Mauer Funeral Home and burial will be in the LeMars City Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Bertha Madison and an aunt and several cousins. Her father, Fred Madison, passed away in 1924.
