Mrs. F. C. Bendixen

Mrs. F. C. (Mildred) Bendixen, 78, Mountain View, Calif., a former longtime LeMars resident, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 1979) at a Mountain View nursing home after an extended illness. She had lived at the nursing home for sometime.

She was the wife of former longtime LeMars physician, Dr. F. C. Bendixen. The couple left here 13 years ago for California.

Dr. Bendixen lives at Redwood Villa, 1981 Monteito Ave., apt. 231, Mountain View, Calif., 94043.

While in LeMars, Mrs. Bendixen was active in the Republican party and had been an Iowa representative of that group. She was also active in the Methodist church, WSCS, the medial auxiliary and Eastern Star.

Memorials are to be made to the American Cancer Society.

The former Mildred Morey and Dr. Bendixen were married in Iowa City.

Survivors are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. John (Donna Lee) Gustason, 22696 Royal Oak Way, Cupertino, Calif., 94022; a grandson and a granddaughter.

Services and burial will be in California with arrangements by the Palo Alto Chapel. Burial will be in Alto Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto.
