Elizabeth Anne McVicker of Brussels, Belgium died unexpectedly on Monday July 27, 2009 in Le Mars at the age of 19.

A private family Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday July 30, 2009 at the Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Elizabeth was born November 8, 1989 in Mons, Belgium, the daughter of Mark and Donna (Gaul) McVicker. She grew up in Brussels, Belgium and graduated from Brussels American School where she excelled both academically and athletically. She was attending the University of Iowa and had recently completed her freshman year where she was studying French. Elizabeth was a kind, caring young woman who was loved dearly.

Elizabeth is survived by her parents Mark and Donna McVicker of Brussels, Belgium; a sister Alexandra Marie McVicker also of Brussels, Belgium; her maternal grandparents Martin, Jr. "Jupe" and Irene Gaul of Warsaw, Mo.; her paternal grandparents Gene and Alice File of Le Mars; aunts and uncles: Barbara (Gaul) and Daniel Conley of Yorktown, Va., Cindy McKee of Wichita, Kan., Kathy Gaul of Kenosha, Wis., Susan Hansen of Des Moines, Kelly and Debbie Gaul of El Dorado, Ark., Tom McVicker of Le Mars, Victoria McVicker of Aurora, Colo., and David Mc Vicker of Chicago, Ill.; and numerous cousins.
