JOHN SCOTT DIES IN SIOUX CITY

John Scott, Sr., 89, of Sioux City, died Monday, Nov. 17, 1952, at a hospital. He had been making his home with his son, John Jr.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Anderson funeral chapel in Sioux City. Rev. I.O. Kronstad officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery, LeMars. Six grandsons were pallbearers.

Mr. Scott was born at Askkirk, Scotland, Aug. 6, 1863. He came to the United States in 1905, settling at Paullina. He moved to LeMars in 1911 and to Sioux City in 1931.

Surviving besides the son are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Rollinger of Sioux Falls; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
