LE MARS, Iowa -- Kurt Allan Tullis, 39, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Le Mars, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at his residence of a massive heart attack.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Following cremation, family graveside services will be Tuesday in Memorial Cemetery, Le Mars.

Kurt was born in Le Mars on Jan. 14, 1963. He worked as a prosthetic technician for seven years and as a dental technician for 10 years.

Kurt is survived by his two children, a son, Brandon 15, and a daughter, Stephanie, 12, both of Colorado Springs; his mother and stepfather, Gloria and Chris Burkard of Naples, Fla.; his father, Gary Tullis of Norfolk, Neb.; a brother, Brian Tullis of Austin, Texas; a sister, Amy Harms of Remsen, Iowa; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Margaret Lang and John and Dolly Tullis, all of Le Mars.
